Who We Are
Family and Home. No matter how you feel about those two words, allow your friends here at the Denver Park Hill SDA Church to introduce you to another kind of family, another idea of home.
Here at Denver Park Hill, we all wear different clothes, work at various jobs, live in different neighborhoods, drive different kinds of cars, but we all live with the same faith. Park Hill is a place where we plant seeds of faith through “Delivering God’s Word” so that we can “Develop God’s People.”
In a world that is constantly changing, at Denver Park Hill, we seek to provide a constant in God’s love for the people of Denver, Colorado and all over the world.
So, whether you have lived in Denver your whole life, or whether you have moved here for work or for school, at Denver Park Hill, we have a place for you.
We welcome you to join our church family. And remember, at Denver Park Hill, you are home!
What We Believe
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice, and teach that salvation only comes from grace through faith in Jesus Christ. This theology is really not so different from some other Protestant denominations, as the Seventh-day Adventist Church was birthed out of a combination of elements from the Lutheran, Anabaptist and Wesley-Arminian branches of Protestantism.
There are however, four (4) areas where Seventh-day Adventists differ in our beliefs from other mainstream Christian denominations.
Those areas are: (1) The Sabbath Day, (2) doctrine of the Second Coming of Jesus and the Millennium, (3) doctrine of the Heavenly Sanctuary, and (4) the status of the writings of Ellen G. White.
At Denver Park Hill SDA Church, we embrace the philosophy that God loves everybody, regardless of race or religion, and that we all are His children.
